Desert Fritscape

Design and Fabrication by Alysa Phiel, Text and Photography by Jane McClarren

A 10" x 10" fused freeform desert scene created by layering various sizes of glass frit. Mosaic nippers are used to add the feel of organic design to the cactus outlines, and details are added with glass paint. The design is set by firing the panel to a dimensional fuse.
