Design by Dolores Barrett
A 1-1/2" to 2" bead made from faceted Simax rod and decorated using decals and enamels. The facets are added with the use of a flat lapping machine. Color accents are created by applying mica powder and enamels, and the design is added using decals and a mask and then sandblasting the bead. The etched impression is finished by covering with white enamel and firing.
