Bumblebee on Glass

Design, Fabrication, and Text by Mary Hong

An 8" x 10" panel featuring a large bumblebee design. The bee’s body is made from nipped glass and reclaimed broken glass bottle pieces, then placed on the spray painted glass from the wood frame. Epoxy resin is used to completely cover the design inside the frame, and hooks are installed for hanging.
