Elk

Design by Robert Ody
A 12" x 17-7/8" panel for advanced artists. Carefully selecting areas for cutting the glass to match the pattern helps to add a painterly effect to the panel, and layering it provides more depth to the scene. The herringbone ripple used for the conifers, in particular, adds realism to the trees. Copper foil overlay is used for adding detailing to the elk. This project was constructed using the copper foil technique.
