Tulip

Design by Marianne Crivellaro
A 3-3/4" x 5-3/4" free-form suncatcher. The flower stem is formed from 18-gauge copper wire, and jeweled accents are used for the anthers. Realism is achieved through the careful placement of pattern pieces to follow the grain of the glass. This project is constructed using the copper foil technique and can be used alone or mounted inside an open frame created with rectangular and square bevels. The bevel frame pattern is included in the issue.
