An 8" x 11-1/2" panel featuring a pineapple design, used in America from colonial days as a sign of welcome to guests. The amber and green border provides a great frame for this simple but stunning piece, which comes to life through the use of varying shades of yellow. The pineapple’s spiky crown of profuse leaves and the solder lines that create the crosshatching on the fruit make for a realistic likeness. This project is constructed using the copper foil technique.
