The Dome and Cleland Border Window

Design by Mark Waterbury
A 50"x 26" dome constructed with The Dome, a metal frame from Sierra Stained Glass Studios of Modesto, California. The frame builds a ceiling dome from which a chandelier can be suspended. Instructions for planning installation of the dome window are given. This project was constructed using the copper foil technique. The 30" x 26" Cleland Border Window complements this ceiling dome and is also constructed with copper foil. Patterns in this issue can be enlarged, or full-sized pattern #22, “The Dome & Cleland Border,” may be purchased from Glass Patterns Quarterly, which contains patterns for the dome and window.
