Heirloom Lace Bethlehem Star

Design, Fabrication, and Text by Lidia K. Anderson

Free-form star ornaments created by pressing lace between two pieces of clear glass and assembling them in a three-dimensional star shape. The project is perfect for showcasing lace from heirlooms such as wedding dresses, but new lace will also work. This project was constructed using the copper foil technique.
