Northern Lights Creating the Illusion

Techniques for using frit and clear Tekta to re-create the appearance of the aurora borealis, also known as the Northern Lights. After drawing the main design lines onto the clear glass, sifters are used to add lines and layers of colored frits. The moon and icebergs are added with nipped glass and detailed using glass powder. Kiln schedules are included for this fused glass project.
