Color Burst

Design by Mark Waterbury
A 10" × 11-1/2" free-form orchid suncatcher done in fetching shades of opal/orange streaky with vivid leaves of dark green on a background of cobalt blue/clear/amber streaky. Petals and leaves spill out past the background and are reinforced with the use of copper wire. The panel is bordered in zinc. This project is constructed using the copper foil technique, but it can also be built in lead.
